A prayer of blessing

Dear Israel,

Jacob wrestled with G-D and was given the name Israel as a blessing.

Be blessed, Israel!  Through your family, the tribe of Judah, comes Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, the Passover Lamb whose blood shields us from Death and by Whom we can shout, "L'Chaim!" if we believe and accept Him.

Be blessed, Israel!  All who enter Eternal Shalom enter through you, because you are the twelve gates of Heaven's Jerusalem.

Be blessed, offspring of Jacob, as you wrestle with G-D here on Earth; because in wrestling G-D you find He is real. Grapple and do not give up—for it is already written that the outcome is His eternal blessing upon you.
